Amravati Board History

The Amravati Housing and Area Development  Board, Amravati is a regional unit of MHADA. It is established on 22nd  July 1992 vide GR No. 2679/B, of Government of Maharashtra and judiciary Department. The Board is functioning at Regional Head Quarters at Amravati having territory over 5 Districts of Amravati Division namely, Amravati, Akola, Yavatmal, Buldhana and Washim Districts. Previously above districts were under Nagpur Housing & Area Dev. Board. Subsequently the Amravati,Board was formed by splitting Nagpur Board.The Board is functioning under superintendence and control of the Maharashtra  Housing  and Area Development Authority, Mumbai.The Head office of  Amravati Housing and Area Development  Board is at Griha Nirman Bhavan, Tope Nagar, near Mal Tekadi, Amravati.

Nagpur Board Activities
Nagpur Housing Board implement mainly following programmes.
  • Housing Schemes.
  • National Housing Programme.
  • Special Planning Authority, New Chandrapur.
  • Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Re-development Mission (JNNURM) and Integrated Housing Slum Development Programme (IHSDP).

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Estate Management
  1. The Authority derives its duties and functions relating to estate management from chapter – IV of MHADA Act, 1976. The rules and regulations are framed for this purpose in accordance with the Act. The principal functions of management are: -
    • Allotment of residential and non-residential tenements and plots.
    • Assessment and recovery of lease rent/rent, service charges, hire purchases installments.
    • Conveyance of property.
    • Allotment of transit tenements and allotment of reconstruction tenements to the occupants/tenants of old/cessed buildings.
    • Providing proper amenities and maintenance of common infrastructural services in the colonies.

All these functions are performed through field office of Regional Board

  1. The Estate Management functions are implemented and monitored at four different levels as follows:
    • MHADA: Policy formulation, Reviewing/Monitoring of all functions carried out by regional boards. Policy decision in respect of issue behind the preview of regional board.
    • Chief office with estate management departments and zones headed by Dy. CO/EM : :Implementations of policies, pre-allotment activities and monitoring of estate management functions in respect of post-allotment functions in all the zones under the Board & Conveyance of properties.
    • Estate Management zone of the board: Activities related with post-allotment work/field works, colonywise documentation, recovery of dues, matters arising headed by estate after allotment like TOT, Maintain, property register, payment f Municipal water bills, etc. Updating of Rents rolls, initiating actions against defaulters, raising demand, identifying unauthorisedly occupied premises, etc.
    • Rent Collectors: These fields level offices are mainly involved in actual recovery of rent/service charges etc., supervision/regulatory work.

Nagpur Board History

Vidarbha Housing Board was working in Vidarbha since year 1951.  Thereafter since 5th December 1977, Nagpur Housing and Area Development Board as a regional unit of MHADA, came into existence with jurisdiction of work in Nine Districts of Vidarbha.  On 13th August 1992, Amravati Housing and Area Development Board has been established and is separated out from Nagpur Board.

Nashik Board Estate Management
  1. The Authority derives its duties and functions relating to estate management from chapter – IV of MHADA Act, 1976. The rules and regulations are framed for this purpose in accordance with the Act. The principal functions of management are: -
    • Allotment of residential and non-residential tenements and plots.
    • Assessment and recovery of lease rent/rent, service charges, hire purchases installments.
    • Conveyance of property.
    • Allotment of transit tenements and allotment of reconstruction tenements to the occupants/tenants of old/cessed buildings.
    • Providing proper amenities and maintenance of common infrastructural services in the colonies.

All these functions are performed through field office of Regional Board

  1. The Estate Management functions are implemented and monitored at four different levels as follows:
  • MHADA :Policy formulation, Reviewing/Monitoring of all functions carried out by regional boards. Policy decision in respect of issue behind the preview of regional board.
  • Chief office with estate management departments and zones headed by Dy. CO/EM. : Implementations of policies, pre-allotment activities and monitoring of estate management functions in respect of post-allotment functions in all the zones under the Board Conveyance of properties.
  • Estate Management zone of the board : Activities related with post-allotment work/field works, colonywise documentation, recovery of dues, matters arising headed by estate after allotment like TOT, care taker permissions. Maintain, property register, payment f Municipal water bills, etc. Updating of Rents rolls, initiating actions against defaulters, raising demand, identifying unauthorisedly occupied premises, etc.
  • Rent Collectors : These fields level offices are mainly involved in actual recovery of rent/service charges/hire purchase installments, etc., supervision/regulatory work.

Nashik Board History

The Nashik Housing and Area Development Board, Nashik is a regional unit of MHADA. It was established on 23rd August 1992 as per the provisions in section 18 of the Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Act, 1976.
The Board is functioning with its Regional Head Quarters at Nashik having territorial jurisdiction over 5 Districts of Nashik Division namely: Nashik, Ahmednagar, Dhule, Nandurbar and Jalgaon. The Board is functioning under superintendence and control of the Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority, Mumbai.
Head office of Nashik Housing and Area Development Board is at Griha Nirman Bhavan, Ram Ganesh Gadkari Chowk, Old Agra Road,  Nashik – 422 002.

Konkan Board Estate Management
 
  1. The Authority derives its duties and functions relating to estate management from chapter – IV of MHADA Act, 1976. The rules and regulations are framed for this purpose in accordance with the Act. The principal functions of management are: -
    • Allotment of residential and non-residential tenements and plots.
    • Assessment and recovery of lease rent/rent, service charges, hire purchases installments.
    • Conveyance of property.
    • Allotment of transit tenements and allotment of reconstruction tenements to the occupants/tenants of old/cessed buildings.
    • Providing proper amenities and maintenance of common infrastructural services in the colonies

All these functions are performed through field office of Regional Board

  1. The Estate Management functions are implemented and monitored at four different levels as follows:
    • MHADA : Policy formulation, Reviewing/Monitoring of all functions carried out by regional boards. Policy decision in respect of issue behind the preview of regional board.
    • b. Chief office with estate management departments and zones headed by Dy. CO/EM. : <>Implementations of policies, pre-allotment activities and monitoring of estate management functions in respect of post-allotment functions in all the zones under the Board Conveyance of properties.
    • c. Estate Management zone of the board : Activities related with post-allotment work/field works, colonywise documentation, recovery of dues, matters arising headed by estate after allotment like TOT, care taker permissions. Maintain, property register, payment f Municipal water bills, etc. Updating of Rents rolls, initiating actions against defaulters, raising demand, identifying unauthorisedly occupied premises, etc.
    • Rent Collectors : These fields level offices are mainly involved in actual recovery of rent/service charges/hire purchase installments, etc., supervision/regulatory work.
 

Konkan Hsg. Area & Development Board

The Jurisdiction of Konkan Housing & Area Development Board is Thane District, Raigad District, Ratnagiri District & Sindhudurg District. Konkan Housing & Area Development Board has constructed affordable Housing or developed plots for the common public. The Board has constructed the tenements or developed the plots for Economically Weaker Section (EWS), Lower Income Group (LIG), Medium Income Group (MIG) & Higher Income Group (HIG). The Board has also developed co-operative society plots, commercial plots, shops, amenity plots. The Board has also provided the basic infrastructure services like Water supply, Roads, Gutters, Nalla, Electricity, Sewer line & Septic tanks etc.

The board acquires land from various sources for implementing Housing schemes.
